Calendula officinalis commonly known as marigold. It was traditionally used topically for a variety of skin conditions a useful ingredient of many proprietary salves and ointments.
Caution: do not use on broken skin, always patch test prior to use. Do not use with known contact allergy to Asteracea family (daisies, ragweed or chrysanthemums).
